Deer on the mind...

With a little bit of down time between fishing seasons, I've been putting in some time in the woods, looking for sheds and working on stand sites

Shed hunting has been going pretty good.  No giants to report yet but that should change this week.  Stay posted...

Over the next few days I am going to put up some photos of deer that we had trail cam pictures of last year that we never did catch up with during the hunting season.  With the easy winter we had this year, things are looking really good!  Here are a few deer pics and a story to go with them.

We have had pictures of this guy for three years in a row.  He has very large brow tines and will score big this year.

This guy has a KONG body and has some unique antlers.  I have picked up a 2 sheds from him this week, one from each of the past two years.

This is the drop-tine buck. He showed up late in the season and has some serious potential for this year.  This is the best drop-tine picture I have gotten to date.

I have pictures of this guy from the past two years as well.  He has a really big frame, he just needs a little more mass.  He broke his brow tine off in mid-October.

I actually have day time pictures of all of these deer, the night shots are just easier to see so that is the reason for putting them up.  -Gussy
